I keep disabling optimized battery charging and it won’t stay off. I randomly go over to battery health now in the setting to check if it’s back on. Why did I even update to IOS 14?

Same here it’s extremely annoying. It’s my phone stop trying to predict when I want it to charge, if I plug it in I want it to charge to 100% immediately. Let me do what I want with my phone.
I update IOS to 14.3 and for six days now Optimized Battery has stayed on! Believing it was fixed in the latest IOS update.
This is definitely weird. Please fix this soon, don’t try to phase us out with some weird glitch.

I have the same problem with phone dimming although I have turned off auto brightness. My next phone will not be an iPhone.
I have the same issue with brightness dimming although auto brightness is turned off. I have 11 Pro. As of now, I plan to upgrade to Android.
Same issue for me. Turn off this obnoxious feature but Apple always knows best and does what it wants. Good thing I didn’t pay hundreds of dollars for this aggravation... oh wait
I think he told you how to turn it off by telling you how to make sure it is able to turn on. If significant locations is turned off then optimized battery charging will be disabled. I just tried it I guess we’ll see.
