Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Apple M1 chip laptops

I bought a new Mac Pro with the M1 chip without realizing that it doesn't run Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Urgh! My fault for not reading the small print but it's a major problem for me as I use this program for work. I've tried working online but Adobe imposes a limit of 100 pages and the documents I need to work on are 200-400 pages. Two questions: 1) Is there a workaround? 2) Does anyone know when a solution will be available from Adobe and/or Apple? (Yes, Apple Support told me that it's up to Adobe to fix the problem but surely Apple should work proactively with major app developers like Adobe to avoid this deterrent for potential customers, given that Adobe's products are very widely used in business and government -- so I blame Apple for this issue as much as Adobe). Thanks to all for any info you can provide. (btw I've also started a chat with Adobe Support and will report back if I find out anything useful).

Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017

Although described as functional by Adobe, the Adobe License Application, which is needed to start Acrobat, is crashing. So Acrobat is not working.

When I tried to reinstall, the installer tells me "Installation aborted due to the presence of a newer product"

Switched to PDF Expert.

I now have dumped all Adobe Products: Indesign -> Quark Express 2020, Photoshop -> Photoscape X and Affinity Photo

I had this same problem. I don't know why Adobe's site says it works via Rosetta but then their own creative cloud application doesn't let you install it because its "not supported".

Anyway, it does work perfectly fine, the trick is using the offline installer instead of installing it from the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Here's the link for that: https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Once you install that it will instantly recognize your CC subscription and work perfectly. Hope that helps others too as I found this thread from Google!

I do not understand your dilemma.
