Since Mac OS Big Sur Fl studios overheats my MacBook Pro and an itching sound appears when opening FL.

Since I updated to Mac OS Big Sur my experience with Fl20 changed completely. I ran into dozens of issues in the past days. For example a weird sound that plays if I open Fl or plugins randomly working only while constantly rescaling them.

The biggest Issue is that my Mac starts powering up the fans massively when opening an empty project.

This wasn't an Issue before.

I use a MacBook Pro 16 2019 with an Intel core i9 so performance shouldn't be the Issue here.

I already reinstalled Mac OS completely and did a SMC reset.

Can anybody help me?

I looked at the program's website and requirements; apparently it is quite resource hungry as it states "the better processor, the better", so I would guess that a thin laptop will overheat if it is stressing the CPU because of the thin laptop components. How much RAM do you have? I'd say it'd be best to have a minimum of 16 GB - 32 would be better. Also remember, that this type of work also demands a lot of empty/available disk space, so keep at least 50 GB available at all times.
