Hi,
Do you have a specific model (including a suffix) within the Samsung Xpress M202x laser printer series?
For example, models mentioned in About AirPrint - Apple Support are printers supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. These models do not need separate drivers (drivers/software from the printer manufacturer may or may not add functionality).
If it is an M2020 (no suffix), I would suggest that you try to reset the printing system, and re-add the printer, to begin with. Check whether the operating system suggests a driver.

If this does not work, you may want to carry out a few experiments with other drivers. However, please note that an experiment could lead to software conflicts. You may have to erase and reinstall everything on the computer. Data may be lost. A hardware problem is unlikely, but it is impossible to guarantee anything. So, if you proceed, you must know exactly what you are doing. It may not work at all. Make sure that you have multiple backup copies of important files before you start.
The M2020 is in a list in an HP article https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06520117. This list contains printers with drivers that can be used under macOS Catalina 10.15. Since these are 64-bit drivers, there is a chance that a UPD driver could be used with macOS Big Sur as well (however, as indicated earlier, it is equally possible that it does not work at all). If you want to run a test, the file would be the Samsung Universal Print and Scan Driver V3.92.00 (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/Print_Common_SW/Samsung_Mac_10.15_Driver_V3.92.00.dmg). Reset the printing system between tests.
