I have both AirPods Pro and V2 and they're both experiencing issues where every 10-15 minutes they cut out briefly, like a brief stutter. I tried resetting the AirPods, no dice. I've read about others having bluetooth issues with the M1 Macs, perhaps this is related.
I think so yes. I've been following a lengthy discussion thread about this on Macrumors and it seems like you have 3 options: 1. Load 11.2 beta, 2. Turn off wifi, or 3. Select 2.4ghz wifi if you have that option. Before loading 11.2 I switched over to 2.4Ghz and that solved the issue.
I have the same problem, don't connect Airpods Pro with my MacBook Air M1 (BigSur 11.2.3 20D91),
So, with my Iphone 8 working well, but i can not use with my MacBook Air.
When i try to connect, the icon always rotates and nothing happens.
I've tried unpair and pairing them again, but it didn't have any effect.
Are there solutions to the problem?

Same problem, newly bought M1 Air. Got notification about airpods being nearby, but... Icon is rotating, i see battery levels, but can't connect. In bluetooth settings it says sometimes connected, sometimes not. Iphone 7 working mostly good.
I do have the same issue. My MacBook Air and AirPods Pro are 1 week old.
hopefully this will be resolved with a software update, don't know if everyone has this I can't find much about it.

I have not. My AirPods pros will not connect to my new M1 MacBook Pro. This is highly annoying because I work using my headphones. How is this not a major fix for apple yet?
Hopefully they will release 11.2 soon.
I just installed the 11.2 beta on my Mac Mini M1 and my issue is still there. My Airpod Pro's connect but as soon as any audio tries to play they immediately disconnect. So frustrating.
I wonder if it's different for Mac Minis vs MacBooks. I have an M1 MacBook Air and I no longer have issues. Hopefully Apple comes out with a new beta soon as it has been a while.
New Macbook Air M1 does NOT connect with my 2nd gen airpods even tho is says it is in the bluetooth preferences. Bluetooth turned off on my iPhone SE. Anyone else? Running Big Sur 11.2.1

I had the problem from the moment it came out of the box and no apps installed, don't think it's something loaded.
I was having all kinds of funky issues with AirPods handoff between my iPhone and my Macbook that I finally turned off the auto-switching. If you connect your AirPods Pro to your iPhone then go into bluetooth settings for the AirPods there's a setting called "Connect to this iPhone"...I switched that from Automatically to When Last Connected To This iPhone, and the phone doesn't try to grab the AirPods every single time I pick up the phone.
