iPhone 12 Pro Max — poor battery life

Is anyone else experiencing poor battery life on their iPhone 12 Pro Max?

My battery is consistently draining 15-20% over night in idle with no background tasks, and 5G disabled. During the day I’m also experiencing poor battery life. I’ve never experienced such battery drain with an iPhone before. I’ve checked with other iPhones users and they drain approximately 1-3% drain per night and so I have no idea why it’s so extensive with the new model. I’ve spoken to Apple who have run remote diagnostics and apparently it all checks out.

Such a passive drain of the battery is affecting actual use time. I’ve reset the phone too, which hasn’t changed anything.

Found why mine was draining so quickly, Amazon music app ! No idea why is as I’ve had the app for a long long time, but found it was using 75% of battery ! If you go to battery in settings, you can see what is using most of the battery. I updated aAmazon music app and been fine since

But having A phone constantly at 100% also treiges battery life. I don’t charge it over 80% to keep battery life over time

The less cycles you use the longer the battery will last.

iPhones are rated at 500 cycles.

Charging regularly uses fewer cycles. Device lasts longer.

That doesn’t work, I charge my phone overnight and by 3pm it’s on red. I used to not have to charge my IPhone 11 Pro all day….

Yes totally I feel the same. Even I am disappointed completely with the battery it could be because they don’t provide us a battery freaking ****. I quit iPhone!

Yeah mine too, I charged my phone yesterday at the evening to 74% and used it for about an hour down to 60% and when i went to sleep and woke up the battery was completely dead. Pretty weird right? And i’m using iPhone 12 pro max
