Same eSim number activation on both Apple watch and Iphone not possible?

Etisalat carrier stated they could not activate my iPhone 12 eSim number because I already had an eSim installed on my Apple Watch. Is that limitation only local or is it worldwide?

apple watch series 7 has Verizon phone number but says no sim and no service The watch app has a procedure to set up cellular. It does not work. It just produces a white screen. I had this same problem with my Series 6 watch. THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION/ACTIVATION of the ESIM FROM VERIZON to the iPhone HOST or the Apple Watch. ATTENTION APPLE TECHS ... MOST VERIZON TECHS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS. There is a phone number associated with my new Apple Watch (Series 7) already however I am not fully convinced that it will work because I had a phone number associated with my current Apple Watch but it could not be activated due to the eSIM issue. This problem is never going to be fixed until APPLE TECHS get with VERIZIN TECHS and figure out a solution.
