Magic Keyboard / Trackpad looses connection

Every 2-3 minutes either the keyboard or the trackpad looses bluetooth connection.

Are there workaorunds to fix this?

Mac Mini M1 16GB RAM

However, it immediately connected when booted in recovery mode. I tried removing it from bluetooth and added back again but the issue still exists. I have 5 bluetooth devices connected to Mac mini.

My new Mac mini pro struggles to connect to my Bluetooth apple keyboard and mouse. My new Mac mini pro struggles to connect to my Bluetooth apple keyboard and mouse. It connects sometimes and doesn't at other times. Restarting doesn't help. I've had to use a wired keyboard and mouse to be able to get the bluetooth devices to reconnect.

You say overkill, I say simplify. With 4 USB ports, a hub is mostly overkill. Simplify.

I"m having this issue on my M1 MacBook Air. I'm using an LG 4k monitor via one of the USB ports. And the monitor has a hub built into the back of it.
