Hi all
I have an Samsung U28E590 connected to my brand new lovely Mac mini M1. However every time I turn on the computer, I have to manually turn on the screen on the back, even though it is lite up blue, as in standby mode.
Anyway to fix this? I am disabled, so it will be nice to avoid climbing around on the table in my office to reach the button.

Try moving the HDMI cable to the other HDMI input on the Samsung display.
Check the Samsung User Manual to make sure that Menu is setup properly for HDMI input and Standby Mode.

Hmm.. I seemed to work last night, when tested. I shut down the Mac and turned on - it worked.
Today after a sleep it does not work.. :( Any suggestions?
Disable sleep on the mini, not necessary.
