macbook air m1 cannot screen mirror and back to login screen

I gave living room tv . I dont thinks its sane issue. I have able listen audio and youtube. Only screen share.

My M1 MBA can connect via HDMI to my 2020 Sony Bravia TV but I get a black screen with AirPlay.

Thats bad.. from hdmi it should be good for god sake. I know airplay is native but hdmi should work fine

Interesting. I will need to explore AirPlay again. Perhaps there is a common element.

I also have the same problem on a Sony TV.

My ipad Pro and iphone work perfectly but my new macbook pro M1 does not!.

Hope apple comes up with a quick fix!

Good news. Sony put out a firmware update yesterday that fixed the issue for my 2020 X900H.

My guess is that Apple worked with them.

i can also confirm that Sony’s firmware update to my HX8096 TV solved the screen mirroring problem. :-)

There's bug in m1 Mac, the quick fix is to change the name of Apple TV in strictly English
