Lighting to HDMI Adapter not working with iPhone XS Max and iOS 16.0.2 I upgraded my iPhone XS Max to iOS 16.0.2 and my Lightning to HDMI Adapters are no longer functioning properly. Every adapter either displays a picture without sound, lags horribly without any sound whatsoever, or it gives me sound without picture. I have attempted to override/fix the issues by restarting my phone, installing and reinstalling my video apps, offload and reinstalling all video apps, and checked all my accounts for each as well as all the video and audio settings for each, all without any successful resolution. I’ve tried a total of 6 Lightning to HDMI Adapters and all provided the same results. At $50/adapter it is quite frustrating to know Apple technology on an Apple device does not work nor has a work around/fix AND these issues remain acknowledged by Apple.

Lightning to HDMI Adapter I updated my IPhone 13 to iOS 16.1.1 and now my lightning to HDMI adapter that I use to watch movies on my tv, from my phone, isn’t working. I do see that users have had this issue in the past, and it seems that backing up phone to the cloud, then back to factory setting, has worked for most people. Is this still the best option for this issue? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

HDMI can also do 3840 X 2160. It's the signal I get on my TV.

An iPhone is not a 4K display. It is a waste for time to send that display size to a 4K monitor unless it can upsample.

You gave me a link to AV adapter. I am looking for HDMI adapter, not AV. The one HDMI adapter which I found does not have good reviews, quote -"Picture is lesser quality than on an iPhone, and I have a 4K TV".

to Lobster - new iPhone 12 has 2532 x 1170 resolution. Which is much better available Apple HDMI adapter allows currently - 1920x1080.

And to tell you the truth - if I would answer someone's question I would not just post a link which I googled without checking it the product is really answer the question and requirements. No. Mine is actually an RCA TV that is 4K.

I don't think you can even buy a TV that is not 4K.

iCloud syncs my videos and photos to all of my devices. I also use an Apple TV 4K.
