Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, tanvir2022.
If we understand your post correctly, a camera lens on your iPhone is damaged. We’d like to help.
You can set up a repair here:
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
me Too. I think it’s a defect and Apple should be sending everyone a cover. I have had an iPhone for 10 years and no issues. After two months it cracked.

I had same issue and today apple ask me to pay almost 600 euros to repair my phone with just a crack on the camera I am highly disappointed first time user of iphone just in 3 weeks
I ordered lens covers (set of 3) that stick to the iphone 12 pro max camera lenses ... hopefully that will give the lenses some protection.
Not more easily, but if you use a case it’s a good reason to look for one that provides some lens protection as well.
Resale/trade-in values return to normal if you have your device repaired by an Apple authorized service agent.
This too has happened to me, had it just over 2 months, my pics with flash on are blurry. Rung apple and they won’t repair, in fact was really rude the person I spoke too, also my phone has rung a few times when been on silent mode. Had iphones for 10 years and never had any problems, considering I paid £1200.00 I’m wondering what to do?
"I don't need auto insurance, I've never had an accident."
"I've never had a fire, so I don't own any extinguishers, and I've ripped out all those annoying smoke detectors."
It's not unbreakable, no device is.
You can feel free to not buy AppleCare+ but then you get to pay for repairs when you damage your phone.
had the iPhone 10 for 2.5 years with no cracks and that phone stopped holding a charge so I decided to upgrade to the 12 pro.. within the first week I managed to crack the main camera... reading on here a lot of people have too I seem to think it’s a defect. Who knows tho I could be wrong. Wonder how much it’s going to cost me to fix it🤦🏼♂️ Brand new phone
Just got back from Apple store.. after driving hour and a half to get there.. they told me $1000 to fix or $1000 to replace.. Apple have lost all goodwill with me..
no drop, just came out of my pocket.. less than 3 months old.
I always drop my phone and they never crack or anything. A few weeks ago I looked down on my phone and the camera lens had been shattered and cracked. I didn't remember the camera breaking, but probably when I dropped it. It is supposed to have a greater fall distance so I don't understand. It doesn't affect my photos but it is very annoying that it cracked so easily.
The front glass only is Ceramic Shield, with enhanced strength to resist cracks and scratches as compared to the glass used on the iPhone 11.
No claims were made for the rear glass or the camera lenses.
My 12 was purchased late October, it appeared to have a shattered lense that could only be seen by pulling up the photo app. (It wasn’t actually shattered). It turned out to be a software issue and the phone was replaced for free under the standard warranty
This must be a thing with the pro’s. My portrait camera lens cracked and idk how. It’s always been in a case. Sure it’s been dropped here & there but from couch height and this has never happened with any previous iPhone.
Exactly the same has happened to me... had my phone for less than 4 weeks and noticed yesterday my third camera lens has smashed. Contacted apple and they said it’s going to cost me hundreds- apparently it’s not a common issue but looking on here it clearly is! Never had a problem with iPhones so I didn’t think I’d need apple care as it’s going to be another £200 on top of my £1200 bill... Have an appointment booked on Thursday but after reading all these comments I’m not expecting the best news regarding how much they’ll charge me. Really disappointed, wish I stuck to my XS
Omg mines did too thank god my AppleCare maxed out all the charges and extra fees that would’ve been required without AppleCare. I recently just sent in my iPhone 12 Pro Max to a apple repair center last week cause my back camera lenses cracked on me which caused my front camera to be unresponsive. So hopefully if I’m lucky enough they can probably replace the entire phone for me free at no charge cause this is is brand new phone I got it a few months ago from Verizon they sent it free but the thing is that if my phone is new how come the camera got broken the first few weeks of having it. I hope they can give me a fresh one I already updated my iCloud so I won’t lose all my data and information.
