Display Preferences on new Mac mini (M1 chip) with Big Sur.

Everytime I start up, log in, wake from sleep, etc. I have to open display preferences to adjust the size of the screen so that I can see it in its entirety (see screenshot). The display prefs are not being saved at shutdown. Also, the screen size adjustment slider doesn't always appear as an option (see preferences in screenshot).

Hi!

I have connected my Mac Mini M1 to an LG 48CX and BigSur tells me that I have a 72 "screen ..... also, if I select resolution" scaled "to 2560x1440 in the system report it tells me that my monitor / TV is 5K and the "gui resolution " is 2560x1440. all of this. its a software bug?
