iphone 12 Pro Max Still Ringing in Silent Mode

You know that’s right! A little inside info, Apple reps Google for their resources. A company as rich as Apple needs to step up their game. If you want to charge $1,800 for a telephone, spend more money providing REAL resources for your employees. It’s basic common courtesy. This issue does exist, we all see it. Fix it already and stop pretending and patronizing your loyal customer base.

I feel like we all deserve a discount on these defective phones! I’ve had this phone for over 6 months now and now I have a replacement phone which they swore was new. It better be. I do not want a refurbished phone I made that very clear or I’d keep my other one. But this one does it too.

I wrote a review after they text me to rate my advisor, I’ve left a bad review saying I spent £1,350.00 on a phone that doesn’t work properly. I shouldn’t have to reset phone and set up a new device all the time, it’s so time consuming and told them I’m refusing to do it, had issues with iPhone X a few years ago and they made me wipe it 6 times and was a waste of time every time

is there anywhere we can complain about this ringing in silent mode issue and actually get through to them. They just seem to lye all the time saying it’s the 1st they’ve heard of the issue

Their replacement phones are never new, when I had my replacement iPhone X it was cutting out all the time randomly and Apple wanted me to record it ha as if I knew when it would cut out, they had another replacement then was sometime wrong with the screen. The iPhone 12 Pro is a Nice phone just a shame it’s got the ringing issue which they won’t admit too

I’ve got the same problem just wish Apple would sort this issue out. Tried everything reset all settings helped fir 3 days now back ringing in silent mode. Just hope iOS 14.6 helps this issue. If anyone found a cure for this issue can you please let me know please

My brand new iPhone 12 rings when on silent. Then my iPad start dinging. It has something to do with software updates because I changed nothing. HOW DO I MAKE THIS CRAP STOP. I LITERALLY HAVE TO TURN MY PHONE OFF NOW

This ringing on silent has happened to me under embarrassing circumstances while in a paid speech online. It happened multiple times and I started turning my iPhone totally off. For some reason this ringing did stop on my iPhone 12 Pro. As we all know, this is definitely BS and it's software but there's probably no way to reach engineers within Apple who could have a fix. I'm surprised that Apple support (AppleCare) people don't know enough to stop it.

Mine is also no longer ringing on silent mode since I reset all settings a few months back. However now I have a new problem, my alerts have no sound including text messaging or other notifications. I’ve never had so many problems with a brand new phone in my life!

I am having same exact issue as well. It doesn’t happen all the time but randomly rings. I also have tried restart/hard reboot and still no charge. I’ll take mine into store to have looked at

Yes, my iPhone 12 just did it and I was in the middle of confession. The silent button was definitely switched on.

I have an iPhone XR running IOS 14.3 and it’s doing the same thing! This is definitely a software issue!

Having the same issue. Ringing while set to silent. Seems to happen with numbers that I don't have contacts for in my phone. Those stupid robocalls.
