Hi I can’t mirror the workout to my TV the workout preview can be mirrored but when I start the workout I only get the audio on the TV but the video plays on the TV
(I have an old Apple TV, but same issue it only plays the workout preview. )
my TV is Sony series 7

Thanks for posting. We definitely understand wanting to be able to use Fitness+ with your Apple TV, and we'd like to see if we can offer some assistance.
You mentioned you're using an older Apple TV device. Which model? Is it able to run tvOS 14.3? How to update your Apple TV
If you have an Apple TV running tvOS 14.3, try starting a workout on your iPhone, and then tapping "Let's Go" and then tapping the AirPlay icon. Then, see if you're able to select your Apple TV through that interface, and make sure to keep the Fitness app open on your iPhone. Let us know how it goes.

This reply isn't helpful. It appears Fitness+ video output is designed to not work with Airplay or work with mirroring (e.g. hardwired lightening port/USB-c to HDMI out directly into a screen, etc). The latter is particularly frustrating as when I mirror my iPhone to a screen with an actual wire EVERYTHING I do on my phone shows up on the connected monitor except for Fitness+. This makes absolutely no sense — it's one thing to block Airplay, which is still silly — but there is no excuse for blocking a wired HDMI connection into a bigger screen.
