iphone 12 pro screen cracking

The word they bleeped out was synonymous with complaining but also used to signify what gender dogs can be. I was surprised it was censored. I guess it makes sense though since youngsters participate and TV shows and movies are so pure now.

I'm in the same boat. Been using iPhones for 10+ years always with an Otterbox case of one variety or another. Today, out of nowhere, my iPhone 12 has a crack across the bottom right corner of the screen. I have a Spigen Tempered Glass shield and Otterbox Defender Pro case on the phone and DID NOT DROP IT. I looked at my phone at one during the day, not having noticed anything all morning, only to see the crack. I have no idea where it came from. Infuriating!

I understand how frustrating it is! did they replace the 1st one? Did you have any issues with speakers also? My hearing aids are supposed to connect with Bluetooth, so when the phone jacks up I have no way to control my hearing aids. I’ve had nothing but problems with iPhone 12Pro. No more upgrading phones till they die. I’m sure they will only get worse. Why do they make such a big deal how durable the glass is when apparently they lied. Why can’t they make a cell phone strong enough so you don’t have to use covers. I thought that was what the 12Pro was supposed to be!

Good luck on returning it. Apple has become all about money. They know these issues are happening. I would think they would want to satisfy customers that have used iPhones from the very beginning, especially if they have never had issues before. Over $1000, only to find it defective with no recourse . Sad

My guess is that you are seeing scratches and not a crack.

They will only crack if dropped.

Apple examined it and said you don't need a new screen.

You can not return a damage device.

You must get it repaired.

OK. The final arbiter is Apple. Doesn't really matter what our suspicions are.

Unless Apple determines there is a manufacturing defect in the phone however, accidental damage is not covered.

Yep, in a case with a screen protector. This phone was handled like a baby. When you spend that kind of money on a fricken phone, you don't take any chances. That's what's so frustrating about this.

This is a 3rd thread I've seen about this issue and I have noticed it's always "users" with very high level who protect Apple and claim it's your own fault

iPhone 12 Pro screen cracked for no reason just had the phone two months already have to get replaced the glass had screen protector and that otterbox case. Get it together apple!!

Sorry, but glass doesn't break by itself. And telling Apple to get anything together in a forum Apple doesn't participate in, which is user to user only get's you nothing.
