Firmware 11.5.2 problem still unresolved does not help

It is still happening for me even on Monterey (12.0.1).

Brand new m1 mac having same issue unable to wake from sleep its so frustrating Apple should look into this

I am also having the same issue on my MBP M1 running on macOS Monterey 12.1. This happens on my Touchbar as well.

Upgraded to 12.2 but sadly nothing has improved, Why apple is not looking at these mass-reported issuesa and did anybody get this resolved yet?

I've to have experienced this issue on several Big Sur versions, including the latest v11.5.1. When my MBP awakes all indications are that she's alive except I have a snow screen with the spinning wheel of death. Nothing recovers until a hard reboot. From similar comments the issue appears to only effect various versions of Big Sur on several hardware types. My MBP is late 2013 with a 2.3 GHZ Quad Intel Core i7. After all these years, this is the first real issue I've experienced. Perhaps Apple hasn't responded is that they too can't seem to wake up. Hello, Tim??
