AirPods Max keep disconnecting and having trouble reconnecting. Totally not worth the $550. Get this fixed please!!!! So disappointed! Almost threw them on the floor after I punched the right side twice...

Hi all. I spoke to Apple. They asked me to do a couple things:
so far this has actually fixed my issues. I now connect instantly to my AirPods max and no random disconnections. Switching to my phone takes a second or so when a call comes in and then switching back is almost instant.
I'm trying this setting today, will see how it works.
Might have helped a bit, but not much. Basically turning this off on all my other Apple devices.
What version is everyone on? Mine is 3C16.
So as I mine does that, I am glad I wasnt alone!!!!!! Same version too...
Hopefully Apple fix this issues with firmware updates....

Resetting does not help or fix the issue.
Regardless it’s a $600 item, they should work flawlessly with no need to be resettled constantly.
What is SMC?
That’s not gonna do anything, well in my case it’s constantly disconnecting from my iPhone 12 Pro Max...
My only Apple device is my iPhone and this happens to me also. I have reset the headphones and it still often disconnects for no discernible reason.
Do yours disconnect when you move the right ear cup?
OMG! I thought I was doing something wrong. These are $1,000 in New Zealand :-(
I am tired of resetting, rebooting, it’s the worst product I’ve ever bought, way too expensive definitely not worth the money.
When mine first came back they worked better but after a while stopped working again... seems to be some software based thing.

I am out of my 14 day return period. I wonder if consumer law comes into play, fit for purpose etc (in the EU)
I too love them, but every single day I have at least one problem of some description.
