Parental controls not working on iPad

Hi,

I have set parental controls on my iPad, 14.2 but every few days for no reason they have reset themselves and all the controls have been taken off. It’s not my children because they dont know the passcodes or Apple ID and it happens when I have the iPad with me. It’s really frustrating to find the App Store icon is back on the screen etc and all the controls have gone. This is a serious safeguarding issue.

have other people found their parental controls randomly switch off?!

Here is a step that may help.

Update the iPad.

If your Apple ID is signed in on the device, change your Apple ID password and use Screen Time with a different passcode.

If the iPad is primarily used by another family, consider using your own Apple ID for Family Sharing.
