Airdrop not working

When trying to send a photo via airdrop from my iphone 12 pro to my macbook pro the macbook doesn't pop up as an option. Both devices have airdrop turned on. I have bluetooth and wifi turned on both devices as well. Turned off firewall. What is the issue? I currently have Mojave. I cant upgrade because I don't have enough space.

I tried to use it in a simple way: choosing a photo, using the share button, tap on Airdrop and waiting to see the MacBook Air to send the photo but the macbook doesn't appear. I can't explain, because on both the IOS product WIFI and BLUETOOTH are on and airdrop settings seem right. Someone have a solution to fix this problem ? Thanks!

AirDrop not working on my iPad Using a mac mini, 2014, sierra and iPad gen6. I want to send photos, etc. from the mac to the iPad. It shows the iPad on the mac and everything is allowed but when I control click on a photo nothing happens. Also unable to drag photo to air drop icon in finder. What am I doing wrong?
