M1 Mac Min waking from sleep not working

My brand new M1 Mac mini will not wake from a long sleep using my Logitech MX keyboard or mouse. Waking from sleep with a very short sleep time works well.

After sleeping overnight nothing will wake it from a Bluetooth connection, or in fact any other way that I have found; including hitting the power button.

I always must shutdown and restart every morning.

Anyone else notice this or have the same issue.

Now this is the second M1 Mac mini I have. The first was a 8gb Ram one that did not have this issue. I replaced it with this new one with 16 GB ram, and not have this issue.

Apple, is there a fix for this issue???

Thanks for the reply barberlives123, I am totally up to date with all updates installed.

Yesterday I tried an experiment. I changed these settings:

In Energy Saver: Display off at 3 hours

Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off

Put hard disk to sleep when possible

Wake for network access

Start up automatically after a power failure

This morning (after more than 8 hours), touching my Bluetooth mouse woke it up.

So not really sure what's going on. The M1 MacMini did give the alarm sound when the mouse was touched, so I assume it did in fact sleep.

Thanks again for the response.

I have many things attached including a USB-C hub. Also a Thunderbolt external SSD, a QXD card reader, ethernet and a USB scanner.

I really dislike the Magic keyboard and mouse. If something meets the Bluetooth standard it should work.

I was having this issue before I purchased the Logitech keyboard and mouse. It was having issues with a USB connected keyboard and mouse.

This is my second M1 Mac Mini. The first did not have this issue. I needed more memory so I returned that 8GB unit and purchased this 16GB one.

Very frustrating. I had tried using the unit with nothing connected except the USB keyboard and mouse, and still had issues with waking up. Maybe it is something with the display. I use a LG 34in 21:9 monitor with the HDMI from the mac.
