my new MacBook Pro is having sound difficulties! sounds like a lag.

my MacBook Pro is brand new, every time I play music there's a little sound underneath as if its lagging, but I brushed past that.

but now when I'm playing music through Logic Pro x sometimes it can't even play because of how laggy the sound is.

do I need to take this into apple?

Hi,

Try to run Apple Diagnostics if it reports sound related issue(VFF001 to VFF003).
