Moldy smell to new MacBook Pro 13"

Is anyone else experiencing a notable moldy smell when they opened up their new MacBook? I saw a thread from 2 years ago that noted the problem. I bought a new MacBook Pro 13" today and the packaging smells very moldy, as does all the paperwork and charging cord. The computer also has a smell, but it is not clearly mold. There is no evidence of water damage. It all looks clean and works. But the smell is not dissipating quickly and is giving me a headache.

Is this a good enough reason for a return? I think I'm going to try, but I also think the sales people may think I'm a little crazy. Still, in my house, the smell fills the room and I'm not comfortable with it.

Any recent experience with this problem?

Update: I called Apple and was advised, as I was in this thread, that I could return the MacBook I had purchased within 14 days "for any reason" at the point of purchase. The Apple retailer I bought the computer did not feel the same, but they did take my return and give me a full refund after a little discussion. The retailer layed on the guilt about the return and told me they could not return used computers to apple for "any reason" and they would be absorbing the cost of this computer entirely. I am not sure if that is true, but I hope it's not. I appreciate the return policy, but not if it affects small retailers negatively. I live in a rural area that has no Apple-owned businesses. I think next time I will go online and try a purchase. It's taken awhile for me to get comfortable enough with computers to do that, but it does seem a smart way to go with Apple.
