Netflix is not working on Apple TV

It’s not called "Check for Updates" for the system software on the Apple TV box. Where do you see that?

The thing is my wifi network is from the same router as eth and it works fine .. in fact everything else on AppleTV works fine (with wifi) besides Netflix app.. which in fact shows: "something went wrong- try again later" message without any error number.. I just figure it out problem myself.. I guess it might be some Netflix problem that I am coming from within eth and then from wifi on the same device so maybe it was blocked.. like when you try use VPN..

so maybe if I "factory reset" AppleTV - which will erase all Netflix signature data from the device - it will start working again on wifi .. ?

This isn’t true in this situation, it’s an os issue. It won’t open, contacting Netflix wouldn’t help and they already tried uninstalling and reinstalling

I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling several times. Rebooted AppleTV a few times. Just did a hard power cycle, and reinstalled.

Still nothing. Netflix screen pops up and then immediately closes.

Device is up to date.

I'm having the same problem as everyone else. I've checked for Apple software updates. There are none. I've restarted Appletv. That didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled Netflix and still have to sign in getting an error message. Netflix works on my iphone on my other non-apple tvs. Help!

I have a similar but different problem.. my AppleTV is up to date 14.4 but Netflix does not work ONLY if it is connected via WIFI, when I plug in Ethernet cable into Apple TV it works with no problem..

all other apps and games work on AppleTV on WiFi - except Netflix ... any ideas what is going on?

This doesn’t work for me as when y re install the app it’s not letting me log in it just stays in the logo with the loading circle. I was with Netflix for hours and that couldn’t help in the end. And the app has no wat to force logout of it. TvOS update also didn’t help.
