USB-C ports broken after 11.2 update

Both of my USB-C/Thunderbolt ports on my M1 Mac mini have become completely unresponsive after installing the macOS 11.2 update today.

I had a USB-C to DisplayPort cable in one and a USB-C hub in the other, neither of which now functions.

Both USB-A ports, the Ethernet port and HDMI port are functioning fine. Anyone come across this or have any ideas on what I can do? I've run the diagnostics tool to no avail.

Have you tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM?

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

If you have a Bluetooth keyboard, you may need to connect it to a USB port on the Mac.

Why not, sure. Did you use 'Erase Mac' natively from the options menu?

This is the USB-C dock that I plugged. It was after that when my monitor stopped working through the USB-C port.

This is an interesting data point. Did everyone who had their usb-c ports disabled have something plugged into them at the time of update?

I had my CalDigit dock and 5k Ultrafine plugged in.

Yep, I had a USB-C to DisplayPort cable and a USB-C to 4x USB-A hub

I am bringing the mac mini m1 in today to return it. Too much hassle to keep trying on the phone/chat.
