Adding app’s to share sheet (suggestions)

Is there anyway to add an app to share sheet that’s not listed on the suggestion menu?

example: In the iPhone photos app - I would like to share photos from there, to an editing app that I downloaded from the App Store - but when I tap the share icon - the app that I downloaded is not listed as an option to share to. It’s not listed in the app suggestions also.

I guess my question is; how do I get certain apps to show up in the app suggestions menu so I can share to that particular app?

As you have already noticed, the Share Sheet has options and then it lets you further customize it by tapping on MORE. But there are limits. You can customize the Share Sheet with only the items that are available. If the app that you downloaded is not in that list then you cannot add it.
