An issue with ipad and apple pencil Hi, my name is Tharushi. I bought an ipad( ipad 11" 2020 cellular+Wifi) and an apple pencil( 2nd genaration) on 1st June 2021. I used it only for design illustrations with procreate app. After drawing for a while the ipad was got very high temperature in everytime. After I done my drawing I always kept my apple pencil with the ipad ( connecting by the magnet) and finaly I could recognize something bleed to the outside from the apple pencil( looks like the pencil was getting burned in inside) When I cleaned the pencil it easily removed but the the marks (brown color marks) were not removed. This was happened on 2nd July for the first time and kept happening for all time when I used it for drawing. After 3 times I stop using my ipad completely because I could see some patches on the pencil with those brown marks. I have attached some pictures for you. Please help me to fix this issue. APPLE PENCIL DAMAGES THE SIDES OF MY IPAD PRO. (Exactly where the magnet that holds the pencil are) I have had my Apple Pencil attached to my iPad Pro since this January 2023 a few weeks ago, I noticed that there were marks on my pencil and thought nothing of it at first. But just a few moments ago, I also noticed two scratches on the sides of my iPad, exactly where the magnets that holds the pencil are. Is this something that Apple would replace under warranty? How can I prevent this from happening?

Have it examined as it has a one year warranty. They will show you how to clean it.

Doesn't look like anything caused by fire or electricity.

Wipe it down with a soft cloth.

It's a stain and not a burn mark.

unfortunately not a stain, but a burn. Burn marks do not disappear when wiping with a cloth

Although I delete it does not pass. It occurs at the point where the pencil meets the tablet and the burns are getting more and more gradually.
