I am using Numbers Personal Budget for the first time. If I use the default template and click on "actual" to add a transaction, it shows me a function. If I click "transactions::category" it takes me to the transactions table, but I cannot figure out how to actually add a transaction. Can anyone help me understand how this is supposed to work? I cannot find a comprehensive tutorial anywhere. Thank you!

Hi Jewel,
If you do not see the Transactions table, click the "Transactions" tab at the top of the document window.
On the Transactions table:
Delete the sample transactions if you haven't done that already.
in the first available row (row 12 in the example above.)
Enter:
The date of the transaction in column A,
A brief description of the transaction in column B.
Choose:
The appropriate category from the popup menu in column C.
Enter:
The amount of the transaction (omitting the $ sign) in column D.
Repeat for each transaction you are entering.
