PowerBeats Pro shutting down with battery
When using my Powerbeats Pro, the left earpiece shuts down randomly, even if it shows more than 80% battery on my iPhone. This only happens with the left one, the right one works normally.

Here's some tips to decrease your chances of either right or left Powerbeats Pro shutting down with battery issues. I had all the same problem in this thread, but haven't had one incident after I followed these steps.
PS! Small batteries like in these earpieces would obviously decrease its battery over time. So if its over 2 years old don't expect more than approx 4-6 hours of playing time. In some cases 3-4. (depending on the weather / temperature)
1 - Clean the case connector / earpiece - Make sure nothing is blocking your earpieces from charging.
2 - Make sure the "disfunctional" earpiece (right or left) is getting its charge in its case. If both pieces are charging together, it will show up as one unit (on iPhone). Open the case and pull out one earpiece from the charging case to check if the other one is really charging and repeat with other one. (It should show a lightning indicator above your earpiece if its charging)
3 - (In case of flickering) If you open the charging case and either right or left earpiece is "flickering" inside the iPhone connector, hold in the reset button on the case (with earpieces inside) for 20+ sec until you see a red light flashing and reset your earpieces. If it keeps flickering it means something wrong with the connector and eventually leads to disconnection.
4 - Last but not least, I used to wear my earpieces long before I would start my workout. I could drive with earpieces in for 30min - 1hour+ before even starting the actual workout. This obviously decreases your chances of obtaining battery through the whole workout.
So make sure you have charged each earpiece to max and bring your case (with the earpieces inside charging) to wherever your starting your workout, and only put in and use your earpieces when your starting the workout.
These steps should increase your chances of having battery throughout your whole workout :)
Seems like it was only a temporary solution. Left has just died at 55%. Right showing 83%. This can’t be a hardware/battery issue. I’m going to reopen my query with Apple and ask them to resolve
Same issue with both Powerbeats Pro buds.
Is there no room for improvement in this matter? It's frustrating.
Now this is happening with every device I have, so the buds have become basically useless. I can only use the right one because the left one goes off after just a few minutes of use.
I'm having the same problem, few days ago my powerbeats pro worked just fine. My left earbud shuts down at 55% battery, I've tried every way but nothing change, I hope Apple will solve this asap :( .
No solution’s at all???
Gonna try this and report later today.

Same issue here, the right one turns off at 55%...

It only started happening to me after they announced the new Beats Studio Buds - I guess they want everyone to upgrade. The repair cost for these is almost the same price as the new ones as well.
this been going on since march how have they not fixed it yet
Not enough people reported the issue… I think it’s because it’s a forum here, where people ask for help, not to report issues. That’s why I said to contact them in my previous post.
solution to this would be by using ménage commercial service
This is happening to me too. Started a couple of months ago. Almost certainly a software/firmware issue because I had no problem with them before this.
I have the same problem and tried everything and I recently stop using it, it a waste of $249 dlls and I am still waiting for Apple to update and fix this problem.
