For what it's worth, I haven't updated my iPhone for months or the Beats for well over a year.

So, it certainly isn't an issue stemming from that.

Beats updated for iPhones come with IOS updates so if your iPhone is up to date so are your beats.

I understand that, but I am still running iOS 14.4.2.

The issue started months after I last did a software update and I had no issues for two years before.

The same thing happened to me, tried resetting and no fix. The headphones were not cheap and i'm disappointed that such issue has occurred to so many despite the high-end price point that was set.

Bro after this stalepods debacle im only using established audio brands from now on i dont trust no dr dre or ray j for my daily driver headphones

I'm about to spend the $40 to buy battery replacements and fix them myself. Hopefully they won't have the same issue.
