PowerBeats Pro shutting down with battery
When using my Powerbeats Pro, the left earpiece shuts down randomly, even if it shows more than 80% battery on my iPhone. This only happens with the left one, the right one works normally.

Here's some tips to decrease your chances of either right or left Powerbeats Pro shutting down with battery issues. I had all the same problem in this thread, but haven't had one incident after I followed these steps.
PS! Small batteries like in these earpieces would obviously decrease its battery over time. So if its over 2 years old don't expect more than approx 4-6 hours of playing time. In some cases 3-4. (depending on the weather / temperature)
1 - Clean the case connector / earpiece - Make sure nothing is blocking your earpieces from charging.
2 - Make sure the "disfunctional" earpiece (right or left) is getting its charge in its case. If both pieces are charging together, it will show up as one unit (on iPhone). Open the case and pull out one earpiece from the charging case to check if the other one is really charging and repeat with other one. (It should show a lightning indicator above your earpiece if its charging)
3 - (In case of flickering) If you open the charging case and either right or left earpiece is "flickering" inside the iPhone connector, hold in the reset button on the case (with earpieces inside) for 20+ sec until you see a red light flashing and reset your earpieces. If it keeps flickering it means something wrong with the connector and eventually leads to disconnection.
4 - Last but not least, I used to wear my earpieces long before I would start my workout. I could drive with earpieces in for 30min - 1hour+ before even starting the actual workout. This obviously decreases your chances of obtaining battery through the whole workout.
So make sure you have charged each earpiece to max and bring your case (with the earpieces inside charging) to wherever your starting your workout, and only put in and use your earpieces when your starting the workout.
These steps should increase your chances of having battery throughout your whole workout :)
How has this issue still not been solved? I’ve had this problem since flipping April and it’s November now. They need to release an update for the beats so they get a fix.
I have the same issue my left powerbeat pro keeps turning off at 75% apple please help this is ridiculous
I measured the battery life of earbuds during constant music listening.
The right one lasted 2 hours 29 min, the left one lasted 3 hours 28 min.
I bought them through Best Buy though so I’m not sure they are under warranty
I don’t think anyone from Apple is even reading this. Especially since it’s marked as “resolved.“ Not sure how that happened.
Well, it’s being monitored by the algorithms at least. Deleted my last post 🙄
I have the same issue and am out of warranty. Sucks that it appears there is no resolution??
No solution at all.
Someone mentioned that a post about a “C.A.L.” was deleted, then theirs was deleted, and I responded to that one and mine was deleted. This is ridiculous that this is happening.
I thought the microphone thing was going to work but has still happened again. My step-dad was a personal injury lawyer but is now a judge. I will pick his brain about this at Christmas.
Yeah I should have taken a screenshot of mine. When I went to post asking about starting one, it was just spinning and then it came back and all the posts were removed and mine never posted.
No buddy. The battery holds a charge just fine. Last for at least 1.15 hours then indicates it’s dead. However, 55% battery life remains.
Read the post.
Been in the same boat for at least 7 months now with my right earbud. Just completely dying, put it in the case and says it is at 55%.
I’m the first victim of 2022. Come on Apple, this is wrong.
