How To AirDrop Folders of Photos to iPhone?
When trying to AirDrop folders of pictures from my MacBook Pro (2014, Catalina iOS 10.15.7) to my iPhone 11 (iOS 14.4.1), I keep getting a message saying I'm sharing a file that "requires an app from the App Store." When I click the "App Store" option, it brings me to a screen that says "App Not Available - This app is currently not available in your country or region."
It also gives me the option to "Open in Files" but when I click that option, nothing happens and then when I try to AirDrop after that, my phone doesn't show the prompt to connect anymore and my MacBook says "Declined" every time I try.
I ended up just selecting ALL 460+ photos from the album and AirDropping them to my iPhone that way but then I had to select all of them again and add them to the separate folder I wanted them in on my iPhone. I just don't really understand why trying to AirDrop a folder is giving me so much heartache?
I also imported them into Photos on my MacBook and thought there was a way to Sync it up to my phone but that didn't seem to work either. I basically just want these photos all transferred to my iPhone into a folder and not just dumped into my Recents with all of my other photos. Sorry if this was confusing, I have been very frustrated by this!
