When I shut down my Macbook pro, the screen becomes static. What should I do?

last night I updated my Macbook pro and after I shut id down. The screen became static for a few seconds. This has been happening since, what should I do?

Static screen when opening MacBook Pro This has happened twice now and it is a little annoying however i am more worried about possible hardware defects than annoyances. When i open up my MacBook Pro 2020 13" base model. It comes up with a static screen, i have attached a photo and it only happens on the main display, not the touchbar. it is fixed by a simple hold power button to force shut down and it works fine after booting again. This is completely random so i feel going to an apple store could be pointless as it would be hard for them to find out whats going on without them seeing the issue first hand. I have contacted Apple and they said basic stuff like resetting the SMC and NVRAM and it has not happened again after that but it has only happened twice in total and they where both weeks apart? what should i do? is this a known problem? Thanks in advanced for any help.

MacBook Air screen going pixelated during shutdown I’ve just noticed that my MacBook Air is showing a grey and black pixelated screen every time I shut it down. It has no effect on how the laptop works but is just annoying as I worry that there may be something wrong with the screen. I have recently updated my Mac to macOS Monterey version 12.4 so wondered if this is what’s causing it? I don’t remember dropping or damaging my Mac at all so don’t think it could be a hardware issue. Does anyone know how I could fix this? Here is a photo of the screen:

Static on MacBook Pro Screen (early 2015) Hi, My MBP has been intermittently showing static across sections of the display over the past few weeks but the problem is now becoming more severe affecting the whole screen for longer periods of time. Choose the method for “If the battery is non-removable”. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 Fresh install of OS (Monterey). Fresh install of previous OS versions (BigSur and Catalina). Booting into safe mode or connecting to an external display resolves the issue which gives me hope there is some setting I could change for a permanent fix. Any help or ideas on this would be really appreciated. Cheers

Hi! It could be a range of issues however, I don't think it's anything too serious as you stated its for a few seconds?

My suggestion would be to wait for an update and see if its still there or manually install a new firmware.
