Remote management without my permission

I found all sorts of logs containing words such as “Remote Login”, “Shared”, etc. I found 30+ users listed, my husband is a senior software engineer who swears he isn’t hacking me, and says he knows nothing about Macs, and I know I’m hacked. How do I remove remote access to my computer? Pleeeeese help.

Someone tried to remotely access my macbook pro I was using my macbook pro (Catalina; 2019) at home (apartment). At one point I saw multiple dialog boxes on the main screen. They had a red symbol and said 'Unauthorized Access'. My home network: 1) LAN/ethernet --WiFi turned off 2) Peplink router (no open inbound ports in firewall) 3) Most of my Sharing Folders options are turned off. For a couple of options, only person allowed to share is Administrator (that would be me). 4) No other users on my machine Any security websites that discuss preventing remote hackers from accessing a Macbook pro. Mackeeper remote access. Hello, I made a pretty big mistake earlier on. I downloaded mackeeper, paid for a month of it and allowed them to remotely access my laptop for roughly 30 minutes. I had used it previously and thought it was good, but after feeling super uncomfortable about it during the remote access I searched for reviews and was shocked with what I saw. Everyone seems to call it malware and that's made me think that they were doing some really bad things with the remote access. I stayed watching the computer the whole time they were there and they went onto my activity monitor plus the terminal/some kind of logs page. Since then I have done a number of things to try and get rid of any potentially harmful software including: malwarebytes scan, manually deleting any files i can find associated to mackeeper/kromtech, etrescan, passwords all changed, sharing settings changed to block any remote access attempts, blocked the bank card that i used for payment There isnt anything on the laptop that i am aware of that would be worth stealing like videos/pics/documents/passwords written down. Is there anything else that you would recommend i do? Thanks in advance,

There are thousands of logs with various scary words.

There are nearly 100 users in macOS.

Unless it is checked in the Sharing System Preferences, it is not turned on.
