Hello all. I'm trying to avoid deleting individual messages on my Apple Watch. After some internet searching I got the sense that if I enable iCloud messages on my iPhone and I delete a message on my iPhone, then that message would also be deleted on my Apple Watch. However, I've tried doing this and it doesn't work. Has anyone else enabled iCloud messages and when deleting an iPhone message got their Apple Watch to delete the message as well?

Was that detail specific to Apple Watch? I believe message deletion is not currently synced across Apple Watch and iPhone (and there is no way to enable this). Messages instead need to be deleted separately on each device.
The Mirror my iPhone setting for the Messages app on Apple Watch determines only how you are notified about new messages. If you choose Custom, for example, you can decide whether your watch shows alerts, whether sound and/or haptic alerts are provided and whether (including how many times) alerts are repeated when new messages are received.
