Final Cut Pro X 10.5.2 - Used Media Ranges???

In the FCPX, I have no way of viewing which parts of clips have already been used.

I've searched online and see there should be an "orange" bar in the browser.

I've made sure this option is checked: "Browser>Used Media Ranges"

I've even reset my preferences, restarted my MBP, and restarted FCPX...am I missing something? Is this a known bug?
