Can't sign into Snapchat on iPhone

Are you sure Snapchat didn’t ban you for some reason? If you are sure that you haven’t been banned, delete the app, restart your phone, and add it back.

When Snapchat bans someone they base it on the UDID (the phone’s unique identifier), so you can’t use that phone again even if your create a new Snapchat login.

It’s your IMEI number that Snapchat is blocking. You’ll have to get a whole new phone IF you’re locked out. Basically Snapchat banned your device from making any new account. Also, if you login to someone else’s account on your phone or make a new account, it’ll automatically get locked. Best thing to do is just get a whole new phone.

Snapchat utilize user and device bans. This to block people and devices Snapchat does not wish to allow access to their service, and Snapchat have a reputation for detecting and banning attempted ban evasions.

Get a brand new phone or use previous phone. The phone you’re havin trouble with, someone before you got banned on that phone so now that can’t use snap.

Snapchat is stringent about the safety and security of its platform. So, your account might be locked due to unusual activity detected on your account. If so, you can refer to the Snapchat help desk.

If you are connected to the VPN, that might cause an issue with the login. Disconnect the VPN on your iPhone and see if that solves your problem.

The Snapchat app verifies your connection to its server. If your date & time is incorrect, you might face an issue with your Snapchat account.

If nothing works, check the software updates on your iPhone and update your iPhone if required.

Then it's not your phone. It's the app and they need to help you fix it.

Are you by any chance using a VPN on your phone? I have seen reports that you may not be able to log into your Snapchat account from a device on a VPN.

There’s nothing that another user in this user to user forum can do, and neither can Apple. You need to check with Snapchat’s support.

One possibility: are you using a VPN connection? Snapchat rejects all VPN access.

I have had this problem myself and i will tell you about it. If you sell drugs or promote drugs, or post nude photos on your my story, or anything that does not comply with the terms and condition. Snapchat will IMEI-Ban you. You can not get acsess to snapchat unless your using another phone. I would also use another email to make the account with. To the people that says that your phone will not function when you get IMEI-Ban. It will work perferctly fine other than the application will get blocked. I have also spoken to apple about this and they comfirm that snapchat can block you from using snapchat on your phone.

OK.....Try this:

Put your finger on the app until the dialog box appears and tap Remove App.

This will delete the app.

Then go to the App Store App and look for Snapchat and you'll see it with a cloud icon next to it. Tap the cloud icon and the app will redownload to your phone. See if you can sign into it now.

Hi I had the exact problem and was able to log in through my brothers phone as well, I had to get a new phone. I contacted snapchat support with bot responses as well. Apple support said it might be that the phone is device banned by snapchat and he recommended reaching out to snapchat, which was pointless once again. I ended up having to get a new phone.
