low memory on Mac
My MAC Air keeps telling me I'm low on memory and I need to close some applications I only have safari open, I downloaded ETRECHECKPRO and I am unable to close pop up notification easily help please I have a macOS big sur

As a good first step, make sure that your macOS is updated to the most recent version of macOS. If the issue persists and to see the amount of system memory being used on your Mac, you can View memory usage in Activity Monitor on Mac - Apple Support
If the program you downloaded is from the internet and not from the App Store, you may want to remove it. Test to see if the issue persists after removing the third-party program.
