iOS 14.5 podcast app issue

I’m having the same issue this morning. Only one of my daily podcasts has downloaded and the others aren’t even available on the show page, even though I know they’re available (checked Spotify).

Between weekly shows that upload Monday and daily shows, I can access 1 of 8. All of my settings for automatic download are correct and it was working fine on Friday. As an avid listener, very frustrating.

I'm having this very problem and I've tried several fixes, which included downloading and installing 14.6 and am still having the issue. They download on my iPad so I KNOW there are new eps, the shows are just not updating.

sorry about the approximate translation, my iphone is in French and I don't know the exact name of the preloaded station in podcast app for the latest episodes. In French, it's named "Les plus recent" which litteraly translates into "the most recent", this is what I called the "latest station" (sorry !).

I have exactly the same settings as yours, and I tried again tonight with my favorite podcasts : I used to be able to get he latest episodes directly in each podcast, but they don't show up any more. I have to go to the station "the most recent" (or whatever its name is in English / American ;) ), refresh the list from there, then when I go back to each individual podcast, hte latest episodes finally show up.

This is sooooo annoying ...

I was wondering why several of my podcasts weren’t updating, and one that I removed and tried to add again was completely missing from their podcasts! Plus, it seems like even though I’ve set my preferences to play oldest to newest, that doesn’t always work AND I can’t even find the list of of “Played” which always had the last one I listened to at the top! WHY do they keep screwing with this app? I’ve used it forever, and it’s still my favorite, but every time there’s an update, they screw it up!!!

i have an issue of whenever i try to load my downloaded podcasts, or anything in that same view, such as "shows, saved, downloaded, latest episodes" it keeps trying to load info, but I just get nothing but the spinning circle. the app will eventually close itself out of just keep spinning. so annoying. i really want to love this app, but I cannot. i always have issues, ever since my first ipone, which was an iPhone 4

I think I finally have this all figured out. BUT, it drives me crazy that it takes so much searching, only getting partial answers, and then having to refine my search.

There seems to be NO place that shows how the new podcast app works, beginning to end. I didn't know anything about "Stations" until I saw them here. Then I couldn't figure out how to create them, so I did a web search for that, and finally found some good information from iPhone Life.

If I hadn't accidentally run across "Stations," I would never have known about them! Yesterday I tried finding a tutorial for the newest podcast app, and everything was for the people creating podcasts. What about the people listening to podcasts?!!

I am on iOS 14.6 and my podcasts are still there, but every time I open the app I have to wait 2-4 minutes or more sometimes for it to sync up and actually show my list and allow me to start listening. The podcasts are already downloaded to the phone and it has never acted this way before. I listen to 10 hours or more a day of content so this is extremely inconvenient. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just my iPhone?

I am having a similar issue. After about a minute, try clicking on browse or search then come back to the library. That sometimes helps...otherwise, they do finally load, it just takes a couple of minutes.

I am also having an issue with my apple podcasts app after updating to iOS 14.5. For me, none of the podcasts are loading and rarely, when they do, they don’t play. I rely heavily on my podcast app for various things and would greatly appreciate Apple resolving this issue.

Apple Connect will not respond to this issue. It happened for me starting 5/1/21 Unless you have a subscription the podcast shows will not show up

Here we go again. An entire week of podcasts goes missing again. You can't make a ticket because server down. Apple can do better can't they
