Since updating to Big Sur video slideshows exported from Photos have been buggy. All the cross dissolves are choppy, pictures can hang, sometimes the video will flash black. We are experiencing this on all our office computers.
I'm just trying an export to check.
In the meantime - what theme are you using. Do all themes show the same bugs?
What music are you using? Where is it stored?
EDIT: Just tried a vintage prints slideshow with the theme music, and it exported fine. So it is weird that it is happening on all your office macs.
Try exporting also with different resolutions (480/720 as well as 1080). And different themes. Try also with a short slideshow of just three slides.
What format are the images in your slideshow? If raw, or large TIF, try some simple jpg images.

Is the theme called "Origami"? That is the closest to "Original" in all languages I tested.
Then try a theme with only one photo per slide - Classic or Ken Burns. Is that better?
The Origami Theme is only useful, if you do not mind that your photos will be cropped to fit the placeholders. Whenever I tried this theme the people in the photos had their head of feet chopped off.
Yes, apologies, the theme name is classic.
Ive discovered that the 720p versions are coming out at 20fps where the 1080p version is encoding at 10fps which is probably what is making the transitions so choppy but doesnt explain the flashing.

Even in this test export the first 720p dissolve is also a little bit choppy.

(Do you mean classic theme - I don't have "original in my Big Sur)
EDIT : Classic - 1080P - dissolve - theme music - working.
EDIT SOME MORE - I've also tried without music, and with various combinations of transition speed and show length. All work, but Classic theme, not original - which is not available on my install.
If you have original, I'm wondering if it is a hangover from an earlier version of MacOS which is not compatible with Big Sur.
Well that is odd. My 1080 slideshow is encoding at 30 (29.94...) fps.
I assume you've checked before upload to streamable? If so, you may need to contact apple support. There are no frame rate options in Photos, so there may be something wrong with your installation.

Our settings are original, theme, no music, dissolve transitions, 1080p exports. The vast majority of pics are jpgs but some projects may have a few png or others mixed in.
Did a few tests;
Shorter slideshow with only 5 pictures, original theme, 1080p: Same issue with choppy dissolves.
Original theme, 720p: Everything is fine
Ken Burns theme, 720p: Everything is fine
Ken Burns theme, 1080p: Everything is fine
So this only seems to be effecting original theme 1080p exports which unfortunately is the output we use for clients.
