but I reainstall it again and it works…

So there are probably many variables that I am not even considering. Some can be on different versions of IOS and certain versions can reinstall and then on other versions of IOS there is no version to reinstall.

Lot's of good ideas out there as to why? but I don't know the real answer

you need to connect your iPhone to your MacBook and backup (don’t encrypt) and then use iexplorer to extract the files

Has anyone tried to go to an apple store and download a previous version on IOS that this app does work on--then transfer documents and pictures to new album and then update to new IOS---not sure if apple store can get us on an older IOS version once we update--but for people that have lost things they truly need then it is a suggestion

Mine won’t reinstall either. So maddening!

I also asked at the Apple store about going back to a previous IOS and you can’t. Perhaps buy an old iPhone just to retrieve photos ??!! A new iPhone is already ios14

I’ve tried calling Apple . They said their not liable for other developers not updating their platform & I offered your suggestions with no outcome. They basically can not downgrade a version even for emergency. This is bullshit. They can’t even modify their own creation to help people in desperate need.

so basically I’ve no solution & lost about 386 photos videos and very sensitive documents.

Have you tried calling Apple support? At one time I did receive a notification on calf + asking to upgrade so I don’t lose my photos for a certain price a month / year. I declined the offer because I thought it should just be free as it has always been. Now I regret it beyond anything I’ve ever saved in my life.

mourn only hope is if they somehow decide to update their app to fit our iOS version.

what does it tell you when you click the app. If you can go to your purchase history & actually do find the app you’ll be able to find the developers information email phone etc. I can’t get in into mine. Good luck

I’ve tried to contact the developer and no luck , also I have tried to contact Apple And nothing i just want my photos back as well . The unloading and reloading didn’t work for me at all I’m just sad . There must be something we could do as a community

If possible the calculator + app needs to be updated so everyone can get all their photos and info off of it. There should have been a warning or something to let people know so they wouldn’t lose precious photos!

What’s their contact information/ email address so we could all overwhelm them with our concerns brother? And have you tried the link they sent you to offload ? I’d be curious & cautious at the same time. Let’s keep in touch. Together we are a strong voice

I completely agree with you. The only leverage we have is their contact information. Apple support won’t allow us to downgrade our iOS to save our documents so this is entirely up to the developers. We need to bombard them with concerns consistently.

Do not delete your app at any cost. I’m hoping they’ll eventually upgrade the app . But this is a lesson to all of us not only to think of alternative secure safe place but also to re-evaluate other apps that offer the same service & bail out at some point. We need to hold one wave accountable now

happy for you but the app no longer exists in the App Store my friend. How exactly did they manage to help you ? When I tap the app it says the developer needs to update the app to work with this iOS version. When I go to storage and offload & upload like some suggested it still says , the app is no longer available at the App Store.

some even suggested they’re contacting Apple to have a permanent solution. Please help us out by going to the app scrolling way down and post the developers email address and phone number please and thank you.

By pushing the app I got first also the same message that de developer should update the app.

then I also went to the App Store and noticed that the app is no longer in the App Store.

than I looked in my previous purchase list and there the app was still there and there the app asked for a update. That’s wat I did. After that I could open the app again.
