live wallpaper turns into a black screen

i’ve got an iphone eleven pro and i’ve never had this problem before, but it wanting to use a facetime libe photo as my wallpaper, and it works perfectly normal as i’m about to set it in my setting but when i turn of my phone and try to hold down on my screen to watch it, my phone screen jus goes black ? i’ve read through heaps of these and no solutions have worked so far ?? i’m on ios 14.5.1 (the newest ios update) ?? can someone please help

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you're experiencing an issue with a Live Photo when you set it as a wallpaper for your Lock Screen. We're happy to help.

We recommend testing with a Live Photo that isn't taken from a FaceTime call to see if this issue persists. See how here: Set a Live Photo as wallpaper on iPhone

Hi chloerxseex,

What about other Live Photos taken from FaceTime? If this is only happening with one saved photo, it could be there's an issue with how that photo saved and you won't be able to use it. If you're noticing this with all photos saved from FaceTime calls, reach out here: Contact Apple Support

i’ve tried with the live photo’s provided from the wallpaper setting and some of my other live photo’s have worked so i’m not sure
