Activity tile disappears from Siri watch face

This is an issue that’s been ongoing since iOS 6 and never found a resolution. The activity ring tile/card on the Siri watch face disappears and does not return. I know information comes and goes throughout the day but this complication disappears overnight and never returns even days later. A restart of the watch or toggling the “Siri data sources” makes it show up again. But overnight it’s gone and I can wait days and it never returns without a restart or toggling again.

I’ve setup as new watch, deleted and added back the Siri watch face, reset activity profile.

Same results on beta and standard firmware.

Any ideas? Thx!

Well, then there is the hard way...narrow your setup down to the bare minimum what Siri is suggesting and sourcing from, in order to determine which app or feature might be causing the problem. So, if you have the time and energy, under Siri & Search, check each app and disable Show Suggestions from App (and perhaps some of the other options as well). Perhaps there is some rogue app there that is causing the issue. Unfortunately there is no switch to disable them all at one go...

Thank you, @better_half! Based on your suggestions I did two things ...

1) I was thinking about the fact that it happens overnight and your comment on the rogue app. I deleted the app AutoSleep even though I don't use it.

2) Then thinking about how it might be writing rogue or conflicting data to health app for sleep, I looked into the Health app --> Date & Devices. I had many old watches and phones so I deleted them (and their associated data) from my account.

3) At this point the tile still did not show. Another user suggested a fall back of adding a modular face with the activity complication as a backup to just swipe and see it. I had that and the rings showed up. Randomly (not thinking about this) I was playing with the Memoji face and added the Activity complication to the bottom where it's text and not the 3 ring image. It said "Set up Activity to continue". Hmmmm. I have had it setup forever (even all my personal data like height, weight, etc. is in the app and my activity goals) and the ring icon works fine but there was something else weird going on. So I clicked that and it walked me through the setup again on the watch. So I did it.

Voila! Not sure which of these made it work, but today is the first day that overnight didn't require a restart of the device. Hopefully someone finds this helpful and it continues to work!

Thanks again!
