my battery life on iOS 14.6 is terrible… is it just me or anyone is experiencing this thing too??
Hello, I did as you said… switched off my phone.. waited for 20 seconds and turned it back on… and now my battery capacity was reduced by 1% again… so now it’s 98% and before updating.. it was a 100%

Do you listen to Podcasts? This is the source of the abnormal battery drain on my iPhone X.
Overnight the battery decreased 12% and showed no activity of any kind. No apps in background, no nothing.
The same thing happened to me, the first day drop by 1%, the second day drop another 1%.
Once you restart it, which I see a few of you did. You just have to wait. I had that issue with 14.5, and after 3 days it was normal.
iPhone 12 Pro Max - the same issue after updating to iOS 14.5 and 14.6. Unfortunately the problem is not fixed yet
I am experiencing the same issue after updating to iOS 14.6 on iPhone 12 Pro.
@applesupport please issue an update to rectify this flaw.
My iPad Pro 9.7 has the same problem after updating to iPadOS 14.6… fast battery drain and overheating
but my iPhone 8 is fine after the update
Got the same problem on Iphone 12 mini. After installing ios 14.6 I got huge battery drain. It looks like I use Android device :(
Ios 14.5.1 is much better for me

Not only batterylife but also battery condition is getting influenced since 14.6 iOS update.
Yes my battery life is horrible now. Yes I listen to podcasts all the time. That must be it as podcasts make up the vast majority of my battery usage. I hope there is a fix soon
