Since iOS 14.6 update iPhone's battery drains while my smart battery case remains fully charged

iPhone 8 and iPhone SE (2nd Generation) are not compatible with Apple Smart Battery Case for iPhone 7. It is just the iPhone 7 model.

This is inaccurate. I have an I phone SE (2nd generation) and was using the Apple Smart Case for iPhone 7 or over a year until the update ran perfectly fine.

I have tried this it does not work.

So do I and it works.

OK I didn’t know powering it on and off after removing it from the charger does the same thing I will give that a try thank you.

same similar problem im also facing with my iphone 6s

My case got broken because of reattaching it every morning to push the charge. Thanks Apple

So they gave you a new smart case and now it works?

Not to mention the wear and tear in the case, mine is falling apart with all the flexing sliding the phone in and out.

Unfortunately they haven't updated the problem report page to allow you to tell them that the problem with IOS 14.6. The drop-down menu only goes up to 14.5.

So really, Apple avoiding dealing with the problem. As they not allowing people to report the issue with IOS 14.6 update. Apple needs to get on with providing an updating patch.

Hey Jack, big help. By the way, they ask for (but do not require) the iOS version you are using in the submission and note that 14.6 is not an offered selection.... :)

yes and after three weeks of doing it is so much easier after a big chunk of the case broke off the right side due to the wear and tear!

IOS 14.6 makes my smart battery case not smart.. Please fix the bug.
