Since iOS 14.6 update iPhone's battery drains while my smart battery case remains fully charged

Same is happening to me. Iphone se (2020) with iphone 7 smart battery case

same here iPhone 7 with 1 month old Smart Case. Worked perfect before update.

Same issue here after updating to iOS 14.6. iPhone 7/smart battery case. Hopefully it gets rectified asap!

Would be fine if say the case kicked in & started charging when phone battery gets down to 20% or so, but nope it just lets the phone die while attached to a fully charged “smart” case

Pretty bad for the 14.6 update to completely break the functionality of Apple's own accessory. Fingers crossed a fix is issued very shortly.

Sorry this does not solve the issue. When you charge the phone and case it charges both then when you unplug the it the issue starts again. The cycle just keeps repeating.

I have Iphone SE 2 from 2020, with an old battery case for an Iphone 7. The phone battery drains leaving the battery case untouched since the update to IOS 14.6. Can you fix it?

SE2 same exact problem, hope it will be fixed.

i too believe this is a bug with the 14.6 update!!! Everything worked fine before but not anymore 😩😩😩

I have this problem with Apple as well. SE2020 with 14.6. Battery case does not charge phone fast enough. Phone runs out of battery while the case still has around 97% charge.

Not sure why this is marked as solved? It’s still happening? Has Apple pushed out a patch for this bug?
