I have an iPhone 7 and the genuine Apple battery case for it.
Since upgrading to iOS 14.6, I find that the battery case doesn’t work correctly. Before 14.6, the phone would draw power first from the case battery, and then from the phone battery. Now on 14.6, only the phone battery is utilized.
Is this a known problem? If so, is there a fix?

This is a general problem with iOS 14.6.
Can you please fix it in iOS 14.7.
I’m having the same issue, updating to iOS 14.7 beta 1 did not fix the problem. Although it did cure some other 14.6 issues. Hopefully iOS 15 will restore battery functionality.
Same thing happened to me. Once I updated my phone to iOS 14.6, the battery case is no longer recognized.
If Apple isn't reading posts here, how can this obvious, widespread problem with iOS 14.6 be reported to Apple?
Yes it is fixed completely. I believe they broke it in 4.6 trying to get the magnetic battery back working. But it’s all good now.
