how to remove chinese characters in notification, especially imessage?

You may also want to try restarting your device. Otherwise backing up and installing the latest iOS would be the advised next step.

It sounds like your Lock Screen is displaying notifications with Chinese characters which you’d like to remove. We’d like to help.

Did you recently change the language on your device? Or was it ever set to Chinese language?

Are you seeing this with all notifications or just for Messages?

We'd advise to Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to the latest version of iOS.

Recently I did reset the language on mu device, but it still shows Chinese characters on notification.

I’m not sure if it shows on others notifications beside iMessage but for now this Chinese characters on iMessage notification is bugging me out.

I did yet updated my iOS into latest version and it is still running iOS 14.4.
