iMac 2021 Order Processing Time

Is there a reason why the order processing time for a new iMac is 3-4 weeks. I did get anything custom so I am just curious why it is taking so long. I have ordered new products before and it has never taken this long. Plus the money has left and been returned to my account twice now which is slightly strange.

How long does it take to process a order? Hi, I had placed a order on a MacBook Air M1 on February 13th(Saturday) it is Tuesday and my order still shows Processing and that they have everything necessary to complete the order. I wasn't sure how long it normally takes to change from processing to preparing to ship? Thank you!

The new M1 iMac is in very high demand, as is any new Apple product.

Eventually, the demand will calm down, but right now, it is very high.
