Buzzing on Zoom Meeting while sharing screen

When I do a Zoom meeting from my MacBook Pro M1 and share the screen from my iPad Pro 2021, I get a buzzing sound every 30 seconds.

Any solution for that?

Hi,

I spoke to an apple technician and they suggested a workaround that lets us use a wired screenshare via zoom.

1) Open the QuickTime Player app. Under FILE, click ‘New Movie Recording’

2) When the recording window opens, click on the arrow beside the record button and select your iPad as the camera option.

3) On Zoom, click SHARE SCREEN and click on the option that says QuickTime player.

This allows you to share your iPad screen through a wired connection via cable, without the buzzing noise.

Hello guys! I had absolutely the same problem, I have

M1 iPad Pro 11" (2021) + iMac 27" (2019).

For about a half year I had this annoying buzzing sound every 30 seconds, when I use QuickTime to get my iPad Sound.

Well, few days ago I bought a New MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro. I updated My MacBook Mac OS Monterey to the latest version Monterey 12.1. Then, I connected my iPad via USB-C to MacBook, I start QuickTime to get iPad sound, and I realised that problem is gone!

I tested for a few days, and it works absolutely fine now, there is No buzzing sounds anymore.

To be honest I'm not sure what's was the reason why problem gone, but I think its because my MacBook updated to the latest Version macOS Monterey 12.1. Probably problem fix in macOS.

To be honest, I not tested iPad with my old iMac, because the macOS on my iMac still not updated to the latest version.

So i'm not sure if it New MacBook fixed my problem, or macOS update.

But I recommend you all try to update macOS and iPad OS to the latest version too, I hope problem will be solved for you all ;)

Thanks for the update Divergent0 , I just did the full suit of updates also and I also am no longer experiencing the the wonderful fog horn effect every 30 secs. Thanks to Apple Engineering for fixing the issue.

Guys, update your iPad to iOs 15.2. There's no buzzing sound anymore.
